Garden Building Blocks

A collaborative design session

Every family brings different ideas to the garden. A Garden Building Blocks session gives everyone a way to put those ideas on the table. I guide the process through play and conversation, using prompts and visual props to help your family turn individual wishes into shared priorities.

This is where the garden begins to take shape.

After the session, you’ll receive a detailed design brief capturing those priorities and outlining the next steps.

As an artist, educator, and landscape designer, I use what we discover together to guide a garden design that responds to your family, your site, and the realities of making it work.

See what can grow.

Different ways to make room for plants, people, and play.

How it works

  1. 01

    Talk

A brief conversation about your garden and your ideas.

  2. 02

    Imagine

We explore possibilities together in your garden through a Garden Building Blocks session.

  3. 03

    Define

You receive a design brief capturing the session’s shared priorities and next steps. It gives us a foundation for developing the design together, with the option to pause before moving to the next stage.

  4. 04

    Design

I turn the agreed brief into a professional landscape design.

  5. 05

    Build

We bring your garden to life through planting and construction.

  6. 06

    Grow

We can help you care for your garden as it grows and changes.
